If you haven’t heard, Detroit has the most up-in-coming art scene in the country. Just ask Revok. Ask Ron English. Artists are flocking to Detroit from all over the world to not only beautify the city, but also leave their mark for other artists to see that they haven’t forgotten this artist hub. Red Bull is one company to take note of the artistic influx by opening a gallery in an old abandoned brewery in the Eastern Market district. The first show opened on May of this year. It featured the art of eight artists (the youngest of them being 23) and was curated by ToTT homie and all around good guy Matthew Eaton. Eaton will be curating a new show exhibiting new artists every 8 to 10 weeks for the next 3 years. Long live Detroit!
